Re: Autobiographies
Geoff Hurst's '1966 and All That' is fucking rubbish, swerve it.

'Jailbird' by (I think) some woman with the surname 'Mackness' is even worse.

Paolo Di Canio's is really good but written whilst he was still with us so it's only half his story.

Stuart Pearce's 'Psycho' is quite good, Dicks' 'Terminator' less so.

Slash's was an entertaining read.

Slash's was just about taking drugs fucking everything in sight moaning about axel being late for every show

Then finding God and getting clean

Could have been almost anyone who ever played In a rock and roll band .

To be fair Pancho he doesn't shy away from anything he's done, but you have to say his conviction is highly suspect to say the least.

Jimmy Conners' one (the outsider) is pretty good. Although he is a bit of a prick to be fair.

Julie Walters one was a decent read.

David Niven another decent account of the movie business back in the day.

Sports people are usually very boring autobiography.

The Dirt- if you've never read it.

One of the best books ever written.

Son of Anarchy 3:41 Thu Sep 17
Re: Autobiographies
Ive got a signed copy of Mike Tysons, superb read.

As some mentioned Slash's, fucking hilarious book but I prefered Duff McKagans one.

Its not a biography but a series of stoires from the bands time together..The Dirt by the motley crue, fuckijg funny book.
